Nobles Deal Targaryens Painful Loss
Bakersfield starter Raúl Pérez pitched effectively against the Royse City Targaryens at Jerome Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. The Bakersfield Nobles, now 1-2, have not found much traction so far in 2025.

Jason Ruffin provided some late-game heroics for Bakersfield. In the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a run-scoring double. It came on a 2-1 fastball from Gabriel Rodríguez and propelled Bakersfield to a 3-2 lead.

"We put together a nice win," Pérez said.
