Royse City got an elite performance from starting pitcher Manuel Franco in taking a 4-1 decision over the Bakersfield Nobles. Mark Sinclair got the save, the 1st for him this season. Royse City, now 2-0, has gotten their season off to a good start.

In the top of the second, Sancho Balderas hit a run-scoring single for Royse City. The 4th hit of the season for the Royse City shortstop put the Targaryens on top, 1-0.
