The Richardson City Thundercats picked up a win at Athletics Park, knocking off the Athletic Club KC, 2-1. On the mound for Richardson City was right-hander Cordell Wilson, who played a pivotal role in the win. The first-place Thundercats now have a 4-game winning streak.

It was a masterful performance from the cerebral Wilson, who notched 10 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 6 hits. Wilson, the 28 overall pick in the 2017 draft, goes to 3-3 on the year with 52 strikeouts.
