The first-place Richardson City Thundercats took on the D.C. Divided at The Thunder Dome.
Starting pitcher Alec Pittman pitched well enough to help the Richardson City Thundercats beat the D.C. Divided by the score of 6-3. Pittman went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 3. His record improves to 5-4.
Also contributing to the win was shortstop Mitch Qualtrough, who stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth for Richardson City. For the game, Qualtrough went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," said Pittman.
The Thundercats move to 32-16 with the win, while the Divided drop to 27-21.
