The San Antonio BC beat the Belvedere Park Rawhides, 7-6, at San Antonio Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of right fielder Alfonso Bocanegra, who captured player of the game honors. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win was credited to Chin Cho in relief. His record improves to 1-4. António Bruno took the loss. Even with the win, the San Antonio BC have a dismal 26-61 record.
San Antonio took a 7-6 lead on Carlos Vega's 1st triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Vega hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Belvedere Park pitcher António Bruno shaking his head.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said San Antonio manager Jeff Walsh.
