In a close game at Grenadiers Ballpark, the San Antonio BC edged the Phoenix Hotspur Youth, 4-0. San Antonio left fielder Miguel García earned the nod as player of the game after he went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. San Antonio reliever Michael Taylor picked up the win to move to 3-3. Sergio Avilés suffered the loss. Today's win puts San Antonio at 21-55, while Phoenix Hotspur falls to 42-34.
Early in the game, first baseman Dawit Lihalakha had a run-scoring single for San Antonio. It was his 36th hit of the season and put the BC on top, 1-0.
"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Lihalakha told the San Antonio News.
