Getting an impressive start from Bernie Sanders, Boston beat Atlanta by the score of 3-2. Atlanta has now lost 4 straight.

Karl Schultz was the walk-off hero for Boston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Boston right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

After the game, Boston manager Tyler Carter applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
