Misfits, Dockery Deal BC 1-0 Setback
|
In a well-pitched game between the Salem Misfits and the San Antonio BC, pitcher James Dockery was fantastic. The Salem right-hander was named the player of the game in Salem's 1-0 win. The Misfits, at 46-26, have now won 4 straight.
Though he didn't get a decision, Dockery did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 7 innings, until Salem eventually rallied past the San Antonio BC.
"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Jeff Walsh.
