Great Day for Ambler in Miners Win
The Marquette Miners defeated the Durham Rapiers, 12-9, in USSL Double A action at Rapiers Ballpark, with Marquette catcher Gerald Ambler named player of the game. Marquette occupies third place in the Silver AA at 41-29.

In the top of the fourth inning, shortstop Locke Lamora came through big-time for the Miners. With Marquette leading 5-0, he belted a grand slam home run.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Marquette manager Juan Ruíz.
