In a low-scoring game between the Myrtle Beach Mermen and the San Antonio BC, pitcher Jorge Carrión was masterful on the mound. The Myrtle Beach right-hander was named the player of the game in Myrtle Beach's 3-1 win. Francisco Gonsáles closed the door for Myrtle Beach, picking up his 21st save of the year. San Antonio has now lost 5 straight.
