Little Caesars beat Marquette at The Pizza Oven, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman David Hunt, who earned player of the game honors. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Their 32-33 record puts the Hot N Readys 7th in the Silver AA.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Hunt. Facing Addick Lubbers with a runner on 1st, the Little Caesars first baseman had a 2-run home run. Game over, walk-off style!
