Aguilar Deals Long Island 1-0 Setback
|
Phoenix Hotspur turned a good effort from starter Miguel Aguilar into a win over the Long Island Seawolves at Grenadiers Ballpark. The final score was 1-0. Phoenix Hotspur has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
The Youth liked what they saw from Aguilar. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Seawolves to no earned runs on 6 hits over 7.2 innings, and striking out 10.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Aguilar said.
