Mermen Rally For Late Win Over Rawhides
Myrtle Beach starter Andrés Quezada had a strong outing against the Belvedere Park Rawhides at Field of the Rawhides. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 2-1 win. The save went to Francisco Gonsáles, his 14th this season. The Mermen raised their record to 25-19.

Theodore York was 1 for 3 for Myrtle Beach. The 22-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. That's when he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Earnest Cogan. It was his 18th RBI of the season.

"Andrés was throwing free and easy," said Myrtle Beach manager Barry Embling.
