BC Fall Short at Little Caesars
The Little Caesars Hot N Readys defeated the San Antonio BC, 5-3, in USSL Double A action at The Pizza Oven, with Little Caesars pitcher António Fernández named player of the game. Lorenzo Tamargo locked down his 2nd save. Little Caesars is now riding a 3-game win streak.

In the bottom of the 8th, pinch hitter Jason Potter gave Little Caesars the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Hot N Readys had been trailing 3-2, but the two-out double off San Antonio pitcher Michael Taylor changed that -- and Little Caesars went on to win.

"We take it day by day here," said Potter, "and today was a good one for us."
