Liefting Dazzles in Vancouver Win
|
Vancouver starter Nelle Liefting pitched effectively against the Richardson City Thundercats at The Thunder Dome. The right-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. With the win, Vancouver goes to 23-20, while the Thundercats fall to 28-15.
Liefting, the winner, is now 4-0. In 8.1 innings of work, he gave up no earned runs on 6 hits, while collecting 8 Ks. He basically put the clamps on the Richardson City offense.
Liefting called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
