The San Antonio BC defeated the Long Island Seawolves, 6-5, at Ballpark of Remsen. San Antonio center fielder Rodney Hanna was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 1 for 2 with a walk. He scored 2 times. San Antonio reliever Michael Taylor picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jim Unknown shouldered the loss. Tony Garza finished to wrap up his 7th save.
Felipe Jiménez in the top of the eighth had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and the BC leading 5-2, the San Antonio catcher hit a run-scoring single.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Hanna.
San Antonio now sits in 9th place in the Silver AA at 12-26.
