The Boston Patriots picked up a win at Dunkin Donuts Park, knocking off the Oakland Oaks, 8-2. Starting pitcher Tom Reynolds, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Pancho Padilla recorded his 1st save for Boston. Boston's record now stands at 25-18, placing them third in the Division I.

Bill Chambers aided the Boston cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Tyler Carter said.
