The Little Caesars Hot N Readys racked up a win at The Pizza Oven, bumping off the Belvedere Park Rawhides, 4-0. Tristan Young, who started for Little Caesars, pitched effectively for his team. Young was the winning pitcher and moves to 1-2. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 4 walks. Adrián Muñíz picked up the save, his 1st.
Also pitching in was Little Caesars pinch hitter Jason Potter, who hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, Potter went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"We put together a nice win," Young said.
Little Caesars occupies 7th place in the Silver AA at 13-14.
