Coyotes Need Extra Frames to Get Past Disaster
In a tight contest at Coyote Wildlife Refuge, the Hamilton Coyotes edged the Port Royal Disaster by the score of 8-7. The Hamilton Coyotes' catcher Carlos Mercado, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Hamilton, now 37-64, holds 11th place in the Menard's AAA.

Monty Sharp had the critical at-bat for Hamilton. With one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Hamilton the 8-7 walk-off win.

"It feels good to get that win," said Sharp. "Now it's on to the next one."
