|
Boston right-hander Tom Reynolds made an effective start against the Buckhead Bowties at Dunkin Donuts Park, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Marcos López earned his 3rd save in 3 tries. The Patriots are now 21-17, while the Bowties fall to 15-23.
In the bottom of the second, Alberto Enríquez hit a 2-run single for Boston. The 15th hit of the season for the Boston center fielder put the Patriots on top, 2-0.
"Tom was pounding the zone," said Boston manager Tyler Carter.
