Port Royal beat Wilmington at Ballpark of Wilmington, escaping with a 7-5 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman Chia-ch'ing Dodman, who earned player of the game honors. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Port Royal winning streak has now reached 5 games.

Dodman came through with some timely hitting for Port Royal. With the score 2-0 in the top of the third and one down, Dodman hit a first pitch changeup for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Disaster managed to win.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Dodman.
