Belugas Losing Streak at 7 after Extra-Inning Loss to Disaster
The Port Royal Disaster defeated the Brinkley Belugas, 4-3, in M3L Triple A action at Belugas Ballpark, with Port Royal pitcher Wayne Downey named player of the game. Port Royal has now won 3 straight, while the Belugas have lost 7 in a row.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Manuel Becerra came to bat in the top of the 13th. Facing Brinkley pitcher Steven Jones, he hit a 2-2 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Port Royal on top, 4-3.

"It was a good effort all around," said Downey.
