Bay Hawks Stick Red Pandas with 9-4 Loss
|
Starting pitcher Augusto Ramos pitched well enough to help the Wilmington Bay Hawks beat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas by the score of 9-4. Picking up the save was Dominic Parker, his 1st. Wilmington is in last place in the Menard's AAA with a record of 31-56.
Phil Parkinson contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the second. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat that propelled Wilmington to the win.
"We swung the bats pretty good throughout the lineup," said Wilmington skipper Wayne Erickson.
