Brinkley got a terrific performance from shortstop Tom Christensen, but it wasn't enough to beat the Hialeah Dodos. Hialeah won the Belugas Ballpark contest, 5-4. Christensen was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 1 for 1 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs. Hialeah improves to 59-28 with the win.
