Loss Extends Vermont Losing Streak
The Vermont Lake Monsters and Bloomington Longnecks provided some drama at Lookouts Ballpark.

Ethan Miller was instrumental in his team's 10-0 triumph over the Vermont Lake Monsters. The catcher was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Bloomington Longnecks. Ryan Peterson picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-1. He struck out 5 in 6.1 innings.

Flexing his muscles for Bloomington was Darrell Terwey. The center fielder had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth for the Longnecks. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Terwey was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Miller.

The 5th-place Longnecks improved to 44-37.
