Red Pandas Go Down to Defeat, 9-5
Chia-ch'ing Dodman was instrumental in his team's 9-5 triumph over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. The third baseman was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Port Royal Disaster. António Venegas, credited with the win, is now 6-3. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 4.1 innings. Port Royal occupies 7th place in the Menard's AAA at 38-41.

Dodman came through with some timely hitting for Port Royal. With the score 3-0 in the bottom of the second and two down, Dodman hit a 2-1 circle change for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season -- and a big reason the Disaster managed to win.

"It feels good to get this one," Dodman told the Port Royal Citizen.
