The Alaskan Humpbacks had to overcome a big game from Brinkley right fielder Steve Jones to leave Sea World with a 3-2 victory. Jones was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. Alaskan reliever Fernando Peralta was the winner. His record is now 2-5. The losing pitcher was Chae-seong Kim. Iemochi Tsuchiya picked up the save, his 1st.

One important at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the sixth. That's when Thom Beach, who is rated as the 87th best prospect by BNN, hit a sacrifice fly. The Humpbacks went on to win.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Junior Benítez.

The Humpbacks go to 33-41, putting them 8th in the Menard's AAA.
