Nishimura Helps Thundercats Run Win Streak to 5
A 4-RBI performance from first baseman Seishiro Nishimura, who is tied for 7th in the PL in home runs with 7, led the Richardson City Thundercats to a 7-5 win over the Boston Patriots. Javier Ramírez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Jesús Caldero was tagged with the loss. Dave Reed was credited with the save for Richardson City, his 10th of the season.

Richardson City took a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Eduardo Álvarez hit a clutch 3-run home run to bring Thundercats fans to their feet.

"This team is real focused right now," said Richardson City Thundercats manager Imran Kopitar.

The Thundercats, at 24-11, have now won 5 straight.
