Coyotes Suffer 8-3 Loss to Buzz
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 25-year old catcher Jack Davis helped the Salt Lake City Buzz beat the Hamilton Coyotes, 8-3. Deron Kuhn locked down his 10th save. Hamilton has now lost 4 consecutive games.
Davis came through with some timely hitting for Salt Lake City. With the score 2-0 in the top of the fifth and two down, Davis hit a 1-0 fastball for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Buzz managed to win.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Davis told the Salt Lake City Gazette.
