The Salt Lake City Buzz downed the Scranton Supernovas, 8-4, at Nuclear Stadium. Carlton Reed led the way, going 3-for-5 for Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City is 27-40 and Scranton, with the loss, 47-20.

Reed came through with some timely hitting for Salt Lake City. With the score 1-0 in the top of the second and two down, Reed hit a 2-0 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was his 77th hit of the season -- and a big reason the Buzz managed to win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Reed told reporters after the game.
