Belugas Best Buzz in Pitching Duel
Brinkley beat Salt Lake City at Belugas Ballpark, eking out a 2-1 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Jean-François Chapon, who earned player of the game honors. At 32-30, the Belugas find themselves in 4th place in the Menard's AAA.

Tied up with the Buzz in the bottom of the fifth, the Belugas got a boost from designated hitter Eric Porter. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Porter saw a 2-2 fastball from Ed Dodd and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Brinkley on top, 1-0.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Chapon.
