The Salt Lake City Buzz and Vermont Lake Monsters played an exciting game at Monster Field.

Starting pitcher Russ Horne pitched well enough to help the Salt Lake City Buzz beat the Vermont Lake Monsters by the score of 4-3. Deron Kuhn finished to wrap up his 9th save.

Patrick Clark's at-bat in the top of the ninth was significant for the Buzz. Coming to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Salt Lake City leading 3-1, the pinch hitter hit a sacrifice fly.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Horne.

The Buzz saw their record improve to 24-35.
