It was a good time at Crane Field, where fans came to watch the Hamilton Coyotes and Santa Barbara Golden Cranes get after it.

The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes got a strong performance from pitcher Archibald Bridgestone, who stymied the Hamilton offense en route to a 8-2 win at Crane Field. Bridgestone went the distance for Santa Barbara. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits.

Ángel Ruezga was a key contributor to the win for the Golden Cranes. In the bottom of the seventh with two out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a double to left-center. He was 1-2 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Mark Harrison said.

Santa Barbara is now 30-28, Hamilton 23-35.
