Thackston belts 2 home runs, Leads Coyotes to Win
The Hamilton Coyotes topped the Vermont Lake Monsters by the score of 7-6, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Eric Thackston. Thackston hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Coyotes. Getting the save was John Riggleman, his 5th. The 9th-place Coyotes improved to 23-34.

Hamilton grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the sixth, when Thackston hit a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run put the Coyotes out in front, 6-5.
