Loss to Disaster Extends Salt Lake City Losing Streak

Spirits Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Port Royal Disaster and the Salt Lake City Buzz.
A 3-RBI performance from Sergio Martínez, who is tied for 8th in the 3AAA in triples with 2, helped the Port Royal Disaster beat the Salt Lake City Buzz, 8-3. The slumping Buzz have lost 7 straight.
Flexing his muscles for Port Royal was Arsenio Sameiro. The first baseman had a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth for the Disaster. It put his team ahead, 4-2, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Sameiro was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Pedro Orozco. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
