Campos Slaps 5 Hits

It was a good day all around. Santa Barbara whipped Bloomington 12-3 and Rubén Campos displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day at Crane Field.
"Some days, lady luck is on your side," he modestly told BNN reporters after the game.
His manager told the beat writers otherwise, "His hitting wasn't luck today. It's his solid approach to hitting. Rubén is focused, patient and he hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have."
