The Port Royal Disaster outlasted Jon Erickson and the Hamilton Coyotes, 13-4. Erickson was impressive in the loss. The Hamilton second baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Disaster improve their record to 17-31 with the win over Hamilton.
Manuel Becerra was a key contributor to the win for the Disaster. In the bottom of the sixth with no one out, the light-hitting center fielder stroked a triple to left-center. He went 2-5 with a triple and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"What a game," said Becerra. "We needed every last run."
