The Brinkley Belugas and Bloomington Longnecks provided some drama at Belugas Ballpark.

The Longnecks had to overcome a good performance from Brinkley pitcher Myles Wilkerson to claim a 1-0 win at Belugas Ballpark. Wilkerson went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Henry Hart got credit for the save for Bloomington. It was his 4th of the year.

Bloomington grabbed control in the top of the seventh. With one out and the bases empty, Darrell Terwey delivered a solo home run, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Longnecks.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Terwey told the Bloomington Times.

The Longnecks, at 21-17, sit in 4th place in the Menard's AAA.
