Longnecks Take Tight Tilt
|
The Bloomington Longnecks did just enough to sneak past the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 4-3, at The Bamboo Forest. Bloomington pitcher Pedro Lara earned player of the game honors. Getting the save was Jim Unknown, his 1st. The Red Pandas fall to 5-10 and continue their uneasy start to the 2025 season.
Also contributing to the win was center fielder Darrell Terwey, who stroked a solo home run in the top of the fifth for Bloomington. For the game, Terwey went 2-4 with a home run and a walk.
"Anytime we get it going, it puts a smile on my face," said Lara.
