Scranton Supernovas starter Roberto Calderón turned in a top-notch performance against the Salt Lake City Buzz at Nuclear Stadium. The result was a win for the Supernovas, 5-2. Bill Maddox picked up the save, his 2nd. The loss drops Salt Lake City to 4-10.
Scranton grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, Arturo Rochel delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 3-2 in favor of the Supernovas.
Calderón offered a curt "no comment" when asked to discuss the win after the game.
