The Salt Lake City Buzz powered past the Brinkley Belugas, 8-1, at Spirits Stadium. Ángel Aguilar was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3, to lead the charge. The loss drops Brinkley to 2-6.
Aguilar had a game-changing single in the bottom of the first. On a 2-0 fastball from Raúl Luna, he banged a 2-run single to right, giving the Buzz a 2-0 lead. It was the 14th hit of the year for Aguilar.
Aguilar called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
