The Philadelphia 1776 BC overcame a good performance by Kingston Township center fielder Clay Rush to knock off Kingston Township, 6-3, at Cloverdale Legion Park. Rush was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ken Frost picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 4 in 7.1 innings. José Sandoval earned the save, his 8th, for the BC.
