In a tight contest at Louisville Park, the Capital District Red Knights edged the Louisville BC by the score of 12-3. The Capital District Red Knights' shortstop José Paz, who blasted 2 home runs, was named the player of the game. The Red Knights improve their record to 15-21 with the win over Louisville.

Paz came through with some timely hitting for Capital District. With the score 1-0 in the top of the second and two down, Paz hit a full count fastball for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Red Knights managed to win.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Paz said. "We did a pretty good job of that today."
