Red Knights Prevail, 6-1, Over Thunder Bay
The Capital District Red Knights eeked out a 6-1 win versus the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at Great Northern Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Luis Hernández, who captured player of the game honors. The winning pitcher was Hernández, now 1-0. He tossed 8.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5. Oswaldo Mobray earned the save for Capital District, his 1st of the year.

Alfonso Enríquez, who is tied for 8th in the 3L with a .418 on-base percentage, aided the Capital District cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.

Enríquez attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."

The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, now 11-5, continue their slow start.
