Adams hits 1st home run in Flamingos Win
|
The Las Vegas Flamingos thumped the Montana Pandas, 17-1, at The Strip. Victor Adams was a big reason his team got the win. Adams was 2 for 3 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Jeff Bradshaw picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 1-0. The win pushes Las Vegas to a record of 3-0.
Adams had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the first. On a 2-0 sinker from Dave Goode, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Flamingos a 2-0 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Adams.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Adams told the Las Vegas Herald.
