In a tight contest at The Strip, the Las Vegas Flamingos edged the Montana Pandas by the score of 7-3. The Las Vegas Flamingos' right fielder Sinclair van Kooten, who blasted 2 home runs, was named the player of the game. At 2-0, the Las Vegas Flamingos have played well so far.

Also doing his part was first baseman Chris McKinney, who stroked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first for Las Vegas. For the game, McKinney was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

McKinney told a Las Vegas Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
