Multi-HR Day for Wagner as Grey Wolves Overpower Thundercats, 6-5

It was a good time at Wolf Den in Vancouver, where fans came to watch the Richardson City Thundercats and Vancouver Grey Wolves get after it.
A 4-RBI performance from center fielder Gregg Wagner, who is tied for 7th in the PL in extra base hits with 8, led the Vancouver Grey Wolves to a 6-5 win over the Richardson City Thundercats. Bill Fletcher earned the win for Vancouver. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 5 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 3-1.
Timmy Appeldoorn drove in one run for Vancouver. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. That's when he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Alec Pittman. It was his 5th RBI of the season.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Vancouver manager David Krause.
The win gives Vancouver a record of 9-11.
