Super Season, Ballina Wins Outstanding Hitter Award Sunday, October 6th, 2024 The future looks extremely bright for Arturo Ballina. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Double A. Ballina has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .314 this year, that's for sure," the center fielder said. The Chesapeake Continentals start also put up a .402 on-base percentage this year, with 71 hits, 12 doubles, 7 triples, 18 home runs, 59 RBIs and 49 runs scored. António Montés of the Athletic Club KC Academy finished second in voting, while Cisco Padilla of the Lannister United Lionhearts finished third. |
