PAA Player of the Week Goes to Robledo of Asheville Monday, September 9th, 2024 Víctor Robledo must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .455 clip, then the Asheville center fielder finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PAA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Robledo batted .455 (5-for-11) with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs. Robledo is currently hitting at a .304 pace with 13 home runs and 35 RBIs. |
