Greene Punishes PAA Pitchers This Week Monday, September 2nd, 2024 22-year-old Mike Greene made a few Chesapeake headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 19 at-bats to put up a .526 average. Greene collected 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. This season Greene is batting .283 with 55 RBIs, 52 runs scored and 12 home runs. |
